June 1964; James O'Connor, Tom Cooper, Jack O'Shea and Johnny Buckley were among the members of The Jarvey's, Taxi-Men's, Boatmen's and The Gap Of Dunloe Ponymen's Association who appealed to Kerry County Council to support them in their fight against the action of CIE in introducing special buses to Killarney to provide sightseeing tours, traditionally carried out by the members of the Association. The photograph was taken outside the Ashe Memorial Hall.
